QEEG Recording Specifications

For local EEG providers recording on behalf of Peak Brain UK clients

If you cannot visit our Kensington, London office for a QEEG brain map, you may arrange a recording with a local EEG provider and send us the data for analysis. Dr. Hill will review the recording and provide the same detailed consultation as an in-office assessment. Please share these specifications with your local provider.

Subject Preparation

  • Hair washed and rinsed well before appointment (no conditioner)
  • No caffeine for 18 hours before recording
  • Stimulant substances: 48 hours washout if safe to pause (consult your provider)
  • Cannabis: 24\u201348 hours abstinence before recording
  • Adequate sleep the night before
